Hi - the first three images give the perspective of the Moon and the moon with Venus on the evening of May 18, 2007. Then a few days later a close-up of the planet Venus on May 21st. Review other images that will bring you into late 2009.

  • May 22, 2007 Dan captured this great image of the moon. This is a single image (not stacked.). Photoshop and noiseware 4"f10 refractor Canon 300d Prime focus.

Amazingly this is a color image with No signs of chromatic aberation!!

Camera used: Canon 300d 

This is a composite of sixty five  20 second images for 21 minutes of total time 
Telescope used: Meade 12" Lx200 @ F10 alt az.

All  seperate images stacked one over the next to obtain this final single image.
Curves applied
Lucy-Richardson sharpening
Wavelet sharpening to small details
High resolution TIF file is 22 megabytes
