This is one of two observatories owned and operated by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh. This one is outside of Pittsburgh, PA in Deer Lakes Park. The AAAP conducts Public Star Parties from March through November. All are free and the public can observe through members telescopes on the lawn and the two telescopes in the building.
