These photos were taken June 1 & June 2, 2006 at the Amateur Astronomers Association's Mingo Creek Observatory near Washington, PA and south of Pittsburgh. This is a series of photos taken by me, Dave Smith and posted with Al Paslow's permission on his site. They were shot on color negative film and the film was scanned right after processing as a "med." res. scan buy Sukolsky Brunelle Inc.
The crated 24" R/C ready to be unloaded at the AAAP's Mingo Creek Park Observatory. This is before the debate on the various ways to unload it. The 3/4" plywood added to the almost 300 Lb. telescope made this a heavy package.
