This is a hand held image of the moon...not bad!

I used this scope the evening this image was taken to see Comet Macholtz

$6 inch f-10 Jaegers refractor on slightly modified Edmund Scientic Co. mount. Photo taken in my back yard with telescope facing east.$

Close-up of the equatorial mount. Note the handy lock for both axises. The large knobs on this instrument helps in assembling the telescope

$6 inch refractor showing what I believe is original Jaegers finderscope. Note green finder objective housing. The focuser is all Jaegers and original with chrome brass draw tube and red "Bakelite" focusing knobs. This scope really has a lot of color!!$
