A 6 inch F-10 Refractor is an interesting telescope that I considered somewhat portable. Here are some images of this instrument and the moon. This telescope is owned by Al Paslow, of Bethel Park, PA 15102 Questions? Email me at : alpaslow@yahoo.com

Pictured is my 6 inch f-10 refracting Telescope on back porch of my home.
The lens, cell, tail stock and 2 inch focuser are all by Jaegers. The focuser is currently set for 1.25 inch eyepieces, but I have a "straight thru" assembly that accomendates a 2 inch star diagonal & eyepieces that I can change for special observering. The instrument is mounted on a Edmund Scientific Co Equatorial mount, somewhat modified for the heavy tube assembly.
The tripod to the left is also an old Edmund Scientific Equatorial that I use on my 3.25 inch f-15 refractor, also a Jaeger lens telescope. (not pictured.)
