Mingo Creek Park Observatory, July 25, 2008 : This observatory belongs to the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh http://www.3ap.org It is located south of Pittsburgh in Washington County's Mingo Creek Park. These photos are from our public starparty. The observatory is the second of it's two observatories. This observatory has a 24" R/C telescope, a 10" refractor and a planetarium. Wagman Observatory Winterfest Feb. 16, 2008 : This is the annual "Wagman Winterfest" held by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh http://www.3ap.org in Deer Lakes Park, NE of Pittsburgh, PA Photos are by AAAP member Dave Smith http://www.davesmithphoto.com We had a clear cold Moon lit night with over 200 attending.

Dave Smith's Photos from Oct. 21, 2006 AAAP Mingo Creek Park Observatory Star Party : Here are images from the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh's www.3ap.org Starparty at their observatory in Washington County, PA located in Mingo Creek Park. This is the second of the organizations two observatories. This one has two telescope rooms with a 10" D & G refractor and a 24" R/C Optical Guidance Systems telescope. There is also a planetarium.
